Jackson Newberry, PsyD, Therapist
Welcome! I am a postdoctoral fellow with five years practical experience providing psychotherapy and assessment to adults and adolescents. As a generalist, I am qualified to treat a wide range of clinical symptoms and life situations. I have specialized experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, panic attacks, personality disorders, Tourette syndrome, relationships of all kinds, life changes, breakups, and forgiveness.
I believe therapy is a relationship based on empathy, compassion, and positive support—all backed by good science. I work with clients to help them identify their true goals, recognize the behaviors and thought patterns that keep them stuck, understand the unconscious needs and motives that drive them, and take steps for positive change as painlessly as possible. My goal is for every troubled or hurting person I treat is to feel comforted and validated when they enter my office and to leave each session feeling refreshed, hopeful, capable, and empowered with new insight and clear strategies for living a better life. In addition to therapy, I also provide psychodiagnostic assessment and consultation services.
